DemandResults Debuts SEO for Salesforce App

DemandResults released its new Salesforce.com application, SEO for Salesforce.com (Free Edition), for download on the Salesforce.com AppExchange site. The application is the first in a series of SEO Automation tools planned for 2010.

SEO for Salesforce.com works by integrating Google Analytics data into the Salesforce CRM, which allows companies to track both PPC and organic search data over the course of a sales cycle. The app will enable marketers to see not only which keywords are driving visitors to the site, but also which keywords are actually converting to sales. Marketers are also able to see patterns in keyword-to-sale conversions over time, which will lead companies to make more informed choices about their content, SEO and pay-per-click strategies.

The app was pre-released and beta-tested to a select group of Salesforce.com customers. “This app was easy to install and began giving us useful data immediately,” said Megan Thompson, President of DNA Identifiers. “I love that I can also design custom reports based on the search fields provided, and map the lead fields any way I would like.”

DemandResults is currently developing a premium version of the app which will feature greatly expanded functionality. The planned feature sets offer much more than tracking and analysis. By inputting a series of business objectives, the premium edition will simultaneously recommend specific action items and create associated tasks within Salesforce.com. “SEO for Salesforce.com Premium Edition will be a complete solution for creating, tracking and measuring ROI on SEO,” said DemandResults CEO Howard Brown. “There are plenty of SEO tools out there, but by partnering with Salesforce.com we are creating the only SEO tool that truly provides a 360-degree view of the value of everything from a single keyword to an entire search marketing effort. In short, SEO Automation.”

The release of SEO for Salesforce.com Premium Edition is planned for Q1, 2010.
